Student Obligations

  • to read the required readings before coming to the course
  • to participate in discussion and debate
  • to prepare a presentation
  • to submit an article based on their presentation within two months after the end of the Summer School. The article will be refereed and if revised according to the feviewers’ and editors’ suggestions, it will be  published in a peer reviewed journal.

Students are required to attend the school in person. However, there is a compulsory virtual learning phase that precedes and follows the two weeks of intensive on-site teaching. On admission to the Summer School, students will be given access to the eLearning platform, where the teaching staff and the visiting professor will give the students some reading assignments, which they will need to complete before arriving at the school. And at the end of the on-site training, the students will be obliged to submit the article via the eLearning platform and will receive feedback in a digital environment.

Assessment

Assessment is based on an oral presentation in the second week of the course and the submission of a paper of some 5000 words within two months after the end of the Summer School.

Certificates

Certificates of attendance are issued at the end of the course.

Formal “Pass” certificates with the indication of ECTS points confirming successful completion are issued when all assessed work has been delivered and approved.
